The Academic year comprise of two terms for STD I to X
Term 1: June to September
Term II: October to March
School Hours
Student’s reporting time: 9.45 am.
School Assembly 9.45 am to 10 am.
Morning session: 10.00 am to 12.50 pm.
Afternoon session: 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
All the students are required to adhere strictly to the norms of school uniform and they are meant to inculcate a feeling of equality and a sense of belonging to the institution. School uniform indicates uniformity in dress, belt, bag, shoes and socks. Students of MGEMS are expected to be smartly dressed with the uniform washed and pressed, shoes are to be polished, hair combed and nails trimmed short. All the students have to wear photo identity card every day without fail till the end of the academic session. All the students should wear black shoes on all days except on Wednesday. During rainy season black Sandal are permitted. White shoes on Wednesday.
SCHOOL ASSEMBLY
The morning session begins with the assembly at 9.45 in which all the students and staff members are expected to participate. All the students should assemble class-wise in the designated place according to their class for the morning assembly, with teachers. During assembly, all the students have to observe proper decorum and solemnity befitting the occasion. After the prayer, pledge taking, announcements, short speeches by students etc., the regular classes for the day will start.
To give importance to the study and usage of one National Language, as well as one mother tongue, it is decided to conduct the school assembly in Malayalam on Thursday and in Hindi on Tuesday.
